Settling in on a Vette
Greetings. I've lurked for years on the forum and finally decided I should sign up. I currently own a 427 cobra replica car and I've been looking at adding a more practical vehicle to the garage. The past year I've been utterly exhausted with the prices of cars.....I had settled on a Mercedes AMG-GTR, or Audi R8-V10 Plus but I'm likely to pivot to a C7 Z06 given the price point. I'm looking forward to conversating with the Corvette community.
I put a few hours of seat time in a C8 out in Las Vegas through a rental company. It is a nice platform but the current C8 offering is not for me.....think I have a little too much hot rod in my blood. The C8 Z06 interest me but that looks like an utter mess getting involved in trying to procure one at the moment. For a street car that might get 2-3K miles a year put on it a C7 Z06 seems like a good fit for me. I've driven a few C7 Z06's and I appreciate the manual transmission and aftermarket performance upgrades that are available.

Welcome and best of luck in your Corvette search. The C7 is a great car and you should be able to find a very nice one.

Best value for the money!!! More dependable and less expensive to maintain than exotics. Get a 2019, 2LZ, M7. Best package with no dash issues
