New Member from N.E. Ohio
I'm a new member here, from North East Ohio (Cleveland Suburbs). Thought I would join this forum to learn, discuss, get pointed in the right direction with regards to what I hope will be an addition to a (new to me) C7 Corvette.
Car, for so many of us, is a love affair that is still wholesome. We get dirty from working on the cars and we love it. For me, like most that love cars, started in our childhood, as it did for me. Being an immigrant, I saw my first Corvette in 1977 (C3, orange color if I remember correctly). That looooong hood. Uff, loved it back then and still love it.
Right now, my BMW 5 series, a ballistic missile in its own right, provides the fun factor for me in every way, but I want, no need, the look, and sound of that C7 Vette.
My sights are on a C7, 2017 to 2019 model years, as soon as the BMW is paid for. I then earnestly start looking to get the C7. For now, it's learn everything I can about the Vette. I keep vacillating between the Sting Ray (LT1-LT2) to the Grand Sport. I realized the Z06, although it would fit my personality, is not the right choice, only because I have no aspirations go get it on the track. And if I did decide to get on a track, I could still do it with the GS, or even the Stingray, even though the SR is not purpose-built as such.
I hope to be involved by learing from previous postings, and also to contribute to this forum by asking a lot of questions.
Cheers and Have a Great Day!

If you have not already done so, you should check out the great info in the C7 sections at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...2014-2019-141/. Especially read through the Sticky Threads at the tops of the General and Performance sections. I believe you will gain information that can help you be a better prepared buyer.
