Default C6 Corvette Barn Find - Texas

Howdy everyone! New to the forum, and new to being a corvette owner! Long story short, I was at my grandpa's farm and stumbled upon my uncle's 2006 DOSM Z51 in the barn covered in dust and draped under an old tattered cover. He parked it there roughly 4 years ago and it has sat since, due to a shifting cable issue (not the first time). I jokingly said Id buy it off him and he shockingly said sure; So here we are haha. Replaced the bushing and cable to no avail, so now it sits at the dealer waiting on a shifter assembly replacement. It's got under 30k milage currently, so next up is probably a summit balancer and ARP bolt fix after I'm able to thoroughly inspect. Excited to meet you all, and learn from everyone.

Mods planned: Exhaust, morimoto headlights, new radio, a thorough cleaning and car wash (and a prayer for no rat damage)

I currently live in Austin Texas and would love to meet locals! Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on your C6!
Bummer that you are already starting out with a problem, but hopefully this is soon fixed and you can drive it while you line up the mods you have planned.
You may want to check out the Southwestern section of Upcoming Events and Regional Discussion to see if any clubs or events are listed for the Austin area; https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/southwest-44/
Enjoy your ride and save the wave!
