Default new here, back into Corvettes
I recently got back into Corvettes. In the '80s, I worked in a Corvette shop in the Dallas, Texas area. I had three C3s. I recently purchased a 1966 coupe. I saw a modified Corvette coupe in Car Craft magazine back in 1964 (when I was seven) and have wanted one ever since. I like the mild custom '60s-'70s look, no front bumpers, six tail lights, mag wheels, etc. I was fortunately able to find a coupe that already was modified, mild flares and mag wheels. it is currently flat black, but I would like to have it painted someday. I have a neighbor who has restored many Corvettes in the past and he has helped me with a bumper to bumper wiring kit from Corvette Central. A dual master cylinder conversion is next.
