After years of dreaming and wanting a car I finally pulled the trigger on a gorgeous 74. I had some very cool cars in the 80’s and really missed the whole cruise/show circuit but I was busy raising a family and remodeling a couple houses so the car thing went on the back burner for 30 years. I was finally in a position to get another car and decided on a C3 just because it’s so different than driving anything else. It’s definitely the most fun I’ve ever had with a vehicle. I bought this from the original owner and pretty much had to pass an audition to even be able to buy the car. He turned down 4 other people ahead of me because he didn’t think they would treat it right. We have a great relationship and he calls to check on his baby pretty often. We went to a show together the other night and he looked like a proud papa when the car took home a trophy. I offered it to him but he said he has a wall of them at home. The car is spectacular it’s a black interior 4 speed with AC and leather. It’s the original L48 but it’s been built up to about 400hp. This car has the best exhaust note I’ve ever heard
