My 15 year old son and I are resurrecting a 1976 Stingray L82. I look forward to learning, and sharing our experiences. Attached are a couple of pictures of the project. The car belonged to my sons Grandpa. It was parked with brake problems in 2006. So far we have it running, and are diagnosing the brake issues.
Welcome to the Forum, Thomas, and congratulations to you and your son on your C3 project car!
Great bonding time for you and your son to work on this together.
If you need assistance or have questions along the way, you will find lots of great members and helpful info in the C3 sections at: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1968-1982-5/.

Sounds like a lot of great bonding time is in store with your son. Best of luck with the C3 - hope it turns out great and you have a lot of trouble free miles of driving.
Thanks everyone for the welcome. We plan to make some memories. Maybe after we get the brakes and suspension rebuilt, I will let my boy do an autocross event. Give him a safe place to work the car a little, and there is nothing like getting beat by a Honda Civic to build a little healthy humility.
