G’day everyone. Just joined this forum for a specific reason which will become obvious with my first post, i know I’m also going to pick up so much valuable information along the way.
I have a 68 convertible which I absolutely love driving, I’ve owned it for many years now, drives beautifully and very reliable. It has a 427, originally came with a tri power but that was quickly
removed and replaced with a brand new Tremec 5 speed, with out a doubt the best modification so far. Car was originally Silverstone Silver but has since been repainted in a new Silver colour of my choosing which now pops in the sun. New Coys C5 wheels gives it a tougher look also.Side pipes were fitted a few years back, love the sound but not sure if I made the right decision, thinking of returning to dual exhausts down the track. The car is a real head turner and gets many thumbs ups. It also gets driven, not so much in the cold weather, but if the suns out then so is the Vette.
