Long time lurker here and the information I’ve gleaned from all the expertise on this site was incredibly helpful as I worked through my restoration. Now “she” and I are ready to join the community. I’m Matthew from Kansas City, MO and my car, Jayne (as in Mansfield - black and white with all the right curves) are glad to be here. She is a numbers matching 1972 Coupe with a 454 4-spd and 50k original miles.
Nice Vette. I was a High School boy who was told I didn’t know how to change the spark plugs in a 454 C3 with A/C. This was at a AMOCO Station where I worked by the owner and fellow worker/manager. He was surprised! I was the only one there that could do it? I don’t know, but I had smaller hands. It was fun as I recall, but the owner was happy. Hopefully, that job isn’t as difficult as it once seemed. Enjoy the ride and forum! This is a great source for information for your new car.
