Here's the story:
Sudden crazy events a couple weeks ago…
I got a message from the buyer of my beloved ‘08 Corvette. I sold it to him over 2 years ago. He will be moving overseas soon, and knew how much I loved it, so he offered to sell it back to me for the same price. The value has increased at least $8,000. He only put about 2,000 miles on it. He said he would rather sell it back to me than make a profit. Of the 61 vehicles I’ve owned, it was by far the best, period. I had the transmission rebuilt, and installed an LS7 clutch, so it’s good for many more years. I had to sell it to pay off a divorce settlement, and I’ve always regretted selling it.
We will finalize the paperwork tomorrow or Saturday. This is such an awesome opportunity!
EDIT: Here's the other maintenance and items I installed...
- Diablosport Tune (handheld)
- Vararam throttle body wedge
- Clutch bleeder extension
- 2nd gear lockout tuned out
- Parking radar for the nose
- Kenwood audio with backup camera
- Antilock brake control valve replaced (rebuilt - discontinued part)
- Brakes and rotors all around
- Rear spoiler with carbon fiber wrap
- Exhaust: Straight pipes behind the cats

Quite impressive that your buyer would turn around and sell it back to you for the same price and pass up a significant profit. He is definitely a class act!
Thank you for your military service!
