Introduction!
Hey everyone. Nick here from Pittsburgh. I joined last year but never introduced myself. My vette is a '66 427 big block, Nassau blue with white seats and white ragtop. Was my dad's and he did a frame-off resto about 15 maybe 20 years ago. My starter crapped out a couple weeks ago. Changing to a gear-reduction starter and decided to change out the points for a Pertronix while I'm at it. I'm near the end of that transformation and this forum has been VERY helpful. Shout out to the previous posters on this forum who have been helpful: @find1966 , @red66bb , @ghostrider20 , @USMC 0802 , @rich5962 . I hooked it all up last night and I clearly did something wrong because the pink ignition wire and coil got real hot. I may be asking some questions here pretty soon once I go over everything again.
