Hello everyone I am new here on the forum and I am looking forward to be apart of the best group that exists! Here is a quick run down on what I drive 2001 Navy Blue C5 6MT with 210,000 miles Here's a little story of how I got my C5. I work at a Chevrolet dealership in the service department and one of our normal customers has a few fun cars and brought in his C5 and his 2011 CTS-V in for an oil change. I told him each time he brings in his C5 it really makes me want to get one. His immediate response was he was possibly going to looking to sell the car, I asked how much he was going to be looking to sell it for and he said around 10k and I thought I would shoot my shot and offer him 5k for the car. I am in the process of looking for a new house and funds for the next project car are a little low right now lol. We exchanged information and I received a phone call from him three days later and sure enough he made up his mind and ended up selling me his C5 for 5k I have some plans coming up for the car and a bunch of spare parts for the LS1 so once I pass emissions testing this next week the car is going under the knife and receiving a BTR camshaft and some other goodies

I have a stack of 135 pages of service records, he would bring it in every three months since brand new for standard maintenance and a bunch of repairs. Glad to finally own a C5
