Well, I finally did it. After wanting a vette for 50 years, I pulled the trigger and bought a 2021 C8. Actually, I should say, my wife convinced me to buy it for my birthday. I took her to the dealership to look at an SUV. She saw the C8 and just went on and on that I should buy it. I kept telling her no and she just insisted we drive it. Finally, I gave in and took it for a drive. That's all it took, and now after waiting 50 years to own a Vette, I am the proud owner of a Mist Red C8 Coupe. I would have preferred the hard top convertible, but this one was there so I took the plunge.
Now I'm trying to decide if I should spend 5K to wrap it with clear plastic in order to protect it. Man, that's a lot of money.

Congrats on fulfilling a dream and welcome to both Corvette ownership and to the forum. As for having paint protection film out on the car, you can havenn by it installed just on the front, lower sides and the mirrors for a lot less money.
