Good afternoon, everyone. My name is Don, and I have been a car and motorsports enthusiast my entire life.
I've joined the Corvette Forum to learn more about the vehicles, participate in discussions, and will be looking to purchase a Corvette of my own sometime between late January and early April of next year. I've owned a few performance cars over the years, including an '89 Mustang 5.0 LX, and a '97 Camaro Z28. This will be my first Vette. I do a lot of my own vehicle maintenance, and intend to participate in car meets, autocross, and perhaps the occassional HPDE / Track Day event. The Mid-Ohio School looks pretty interesting.
As far as the Corvettes go, I am particularly interested in the C5 Z06, the C6 Grand Sport, and the C7 Z51s.
Happy to be here and to have the opportunity to learn from all of you.
