Bought this baby and love it. I know '76 was an off year but this one everything works well (enough- ) and it is a pleasure to drive. Fixing the front bumper and waiting for decent weather to get back behind the wheel !
My local dealer has another 76 4- speed that looks interesting...Cheers from Cincinnati Ohio.
Keen https://www.keenparts.com/ is in between work and home so I stopped by and got a new front bumper. I'll get that painted and installed soon. I bead blasted and painted all the brackets and bumpers under there - they were in great shape, no rust to speak of.

So far so great - started right up after a couple months at the storage facility. Body shop should have the nose painted this week. Dexterity check on attaching it!
Thanks..
Congratulations and good luck on the restoration of the front bumper.
I had a '76E L82 4sp and loved the 18 years I had it. It made a lot of trips from the Seattle area to Western Montana, Portland, Spokane and Idaho. Now my son has it and he's just starting to enjoy it in Montana.
