Default New guy

Hello, I just purchased my new 2019 Grand Sport 1LT with 9k miles yesterday. What a great car! I'm here to learn about these cars.

My car was rebuilt from a small front end collision. It looks like when it was rebuilt they used the standard stingray fender vent trim. I've already looked up the correct vent part numbers but I don't know if they will work with my current fenders. At first I thought I could just pop them in but research shows the part number for the GS vs Stingray front fenders are different.

I searched the forum first but didn't find anything. Probably not a very common question.

Thanks

Welcome fellow new member! Great looking C7, always loved the grand sport. Don't know the answer to your question, but wish you luck figuring it out . I suspect they might not fit, because the two cars seem to have different fenders. The shape of the grand sport seems different.

Thanks for the welcome, after a little more research it looks like I'd have to get new fenders. I looked up fenders on Ebay and compared.

Welcome to the Forum, Ron, and congratulations on your C7!
Wonder if the incorrect fenders were a lack of the repair shop’s understanding or a cost cutting measure? If you bought it from the same dealership that repaired the damage perhaps you can do some arm twisting to get the correct fenders installed.
Still a nice looking car either way, though.
