Please don't be overly shocked, but I just found this site today and since I'm a completely ignorant with computers, I'll probably mess up royally so please bear with me. My Vette is a resale red '65 fuelie droptop that is the car I wanted when I graduated from college in 1965 but couldn't afford until 1988. It doesn't even approach show quality because I flog the snot out of it if I get a nice day and a clear highway. There even has been an occasion or two when I was at a stoplight next to a "tuner" whose souped up lawnmower with its "bzzzt, bzzzt, bzzzt" was too much of a temptation.
At any rate, I now at the age where I find it difficult even to bend over and pull out the dipstick to check the oil on "Ol' Shake, Rattle, and Roar" (it has the sidemount exhaust), so anything else is beyond my physical capability. Therefore, can anyone refer me to some capable mechanics here in Colorado Springs, CO, since the Corvette Center went the way of all flesh a couple of years ago?
Thanks for any help.
