Hello,
No Corvette yet but am looking around for one, specifically a c6 GS with the dry sump system. My dad however, does have a '14 stingray
I'm normally more of a lurker on forums, because I rarely have enough knowledge to contribute to difficult questions but on other forums (Miata forum) I have contributed in the past. Usually I can find what info I need by looking at posts, and only post a question when I am absolutely stumped. So, not often.
For example, I learned this week that C5s, C6, and even some C7s if I'm not mistaken, still use leaf spring suspension. My jaw dropped. I mean, I'm no automotive rookie, but never worked on corvettes. And that was surprising to me.
Anyway, I love forums. They're such a good database of info on specific cars, and the people are always special as well!
can't believe I ever bad mouthed corvettes... I'm a believer now! Lol

Thanks everybody! Hopefully I can find the perfect car by summers end, so I can get to enjoying a Corvette and learning more about them! I'm very much a self wrencher, so hopefully a c6 doesn't have too much that can't be done in a home shop
