Good day! New to the forum. I have a 73 C3 w/454/ All (or so I believe) original. I call it the "rat behind the barn" as that is where I found it. Had been sitting for 25+ years until the owner passed. I never known it was there until the owner passed and it was put up for sale. 454/th400 coupe. AC/PS. When I purchased the car, the widow said that her husband parked the car behind the barn many years ago ( possibly as far back as 1995). When asked, she could not tell me why he parked it...however ...I figured it out (or so I believe) and that is why I am here. I tend to spend a lot of time reading posts and researching before I open my big mouth and insert foot...having looked over many posts in the forum there appear to be many folks that have a greater knowledge base and experience than I...which is exactly what I am seeking. Before being asked...I will at some point, try to post a couple of pics of how I found the car...but I am computerly challenged. I do know which end of the screwdriver to hold but I am not a professional mechanic by any means. I try rather hard to do as much of the work as possible...although it can very much be a struggle...I do enjoy it until I don't...but I try to keep on keeping on. The goal...get this car running and drive it. Car has 73,xxx miles on the odometer. The car is/was originally "metallic yellow"...I believe that is the color. Now it is a solar treated dull gold. Car appears to be otherwise straight. But does not run...and I am going to pose my question in the general/technical forum...I would be remiss if I did not say..."Greetings from Big Sky Country"! Gus

Hopefully, the knowledgeable folks in the C3 sections will help you get on the right path to getting your ride running like a top.
You may also want to see if there are any Corvette clubs in your area; you may find additional input there.
Best wishes for spending many years smiling as you cruise in your ‘73!
