New guy in Forest, VA.
Lost some of what I was writing..
So- As I was saying.. I'm a Ford guy who also likes GM cars. I'm trying to collect all the cars I've loved over the last 50 years before I retire.
I've been on a steep learning curve the last month with the Vettes. Was seriously considering a C4, would love a C7 (not in my budget right now).
Decided to go for the 78 C3 since I graduated in 78, but I'm on the fence if I want to go for an Indy Pace Car, or a Silver Anniversary package car. The Pace Car is a little more flashy- the Silver Anniversary is a little more elegant looking..
I saw somewhere that Larry Shinoda, designer of the Boss Mustangs, also designed the first C3?? (Let me know if that's correct)..
Anyway, glad the forum is here- will likely be a supporting member in the near future.

You are correct about Larry Shinoda being involved in the design of the C3 Corvette. He was also involved in the design of the C2s, CERV I and II, Astro I and II, the Boss 302 (as you mentioned), the NCM logo, the Shinoda wristwatch, well as many other designs.
