Howdy figured I should post here first
Hey Vette folks!
I’m Radar, nickname since 14, now mid 40s. I tattoo and hand engrave firearms for money and mess with cars & bikes for fun.
I barely fit in a C3 but always admired them, so I bought a 1980 disco era ‘not a stingray’ with a base model 350 for my wife’s birthday last year. i was happily surprised she started daily driving it and I was on the hook to maintain it, but with her help because she wants to learn.
I’ve built a lot of mopars and harleys, engines, transmissions, chassis work and fabrication, and body work too. I can do it all but don’t claim to be an expert in anything. I’m not a brand snob I like everything but I usually prefer made in USA.
I came here to share a write up on the top end overhaul we just did on the 1980 c3 so I’m gonna head over and write that before my thumbs get tired of phone typing.
