I originally went to look at a 2008 Corvette Z06 that was on Facebook Marketplace, but it ended up being a dud and I knew in my heart I wouldn't be happy with it because of the issues it had at just 41,000 miles. I had traveled 3.5 hours to look at it, so I ended up looking online for others in the area. I happened upon a 2014 Stingray 1LT automatic with 31k miles at a dealership. I wasn't too keen on that until I drove it and, honestly, it was kind of fun to not have to shift. I could just mash it and go like I did with the Buick GN's I used to own. The interior was just awesome when compared to previous generations, at least in my eyes. After thinking it over, I made them an offer of 38k on the road and they accepted it. I have been driving it for a couple of weeks now and I am just in love with it. I am missing a few options I didn't know about from higher tier Corvettes, but I didn't know what I didn't know.
I am going to be sad to put it in storage soon, but I am having so much fun with it while I can.I know mine is plain, but I like it that way. I have always been a fan of understated looks.
