The year was 1984, and my dad had his dream car and first child, a 1984 corvette. He kept the car and drove it until earlier this year when he got fed up with it's problems and couldn't find any shops that were willing to work on it. When he told me he was done with it, I told him I had been looking for a project car for a year or so and convinced him the old corvette would be a good one. It's my first project car, and my first corvette. It's non-idling, it's is paint worn through, and it's interior is beat up. They are all opportunities to learn some skills and have some fun. Most of all I'm looking forward to getting it running and enjoy driving it.
