Hello from Los Angeles
I’m a former Corvette owner from years ago (a ‘63 SWC) that I bought in 1972 for $1200. I no longer have it, but I’m thrilled Corvette Forum exists because there was nothing like this forum 50+ years ago. The closest thing that did exist was a monthly magazine called Corvette News! I’m starting to get interested in maybe buying a C2 convertible this time out but we'll see and just thought I’d learn more from being here with all of you. (Photo of my 1963 SWC, 1972)

My 1st ride in a Vette happened in the summer of '70 when I was 12 years old.
It was in the back of a Sebring Silver '63 SWC & it lit the fuse....

@SEVNT6 Great story! What amazes me after all these years is that the car was only 9 years old when I bought it! I drove that car all across Canada on a road trip.
