Hi everybody. Got notice from my salesman last week that GM had started my build (3LT Z51 RB Stingray with Tension Blue interior, splitters, low apoiler, etc) with one constraint - the Gloss Black Wheels; so have settled, I thiink on the Vossen HF-7s. Am getting it PPf'd, and ceramic coated.
Hope I'm not violating any forum protocol by signing up before my vette gets delivered. If I am, please let me know, and I'll refrain from posting until it's delivered in about 2 weeks.
This is my first vette and I'm as excited as hell, having done a deep dive on the C8 for about a year in anticipation. Can't wait to take the Ron Fellows Driving School, as I've been driving the same car, a manual, for 32 years and think I better learn how to a real sports car now that I've got one.
I've got a lot of questions (about aftermarket :stuff, tthe breakin period, etc) , and am very impressed by the experience and knowledge that I've seen in this forum; so, if I ask stupid questions, which cause members' eyes to roll or worse, it's done out of ignorance only and not trying to be a jerk.

Thank you! I have been stresing out on aftermarket wheels when advised of the constraint. Have looked at many, many wheels. Too many, really. It's overwhelming for someone not knowledgeable on the subject. If you can relate your experience with them/ knowledge of them, I'd appreciate it. I hear they have a good rep,
