Thanks for allowing me to join. I just got a 2003 convertible 6 speed. Has always been stored indoors. 22000 miles. Looks new. Joined to learn what others do to their cars and maintenance ideas. All stock. First mod is cat back exhaust. Thinking Corsa sport but would love input.
Enjoy the ride,
Jim
Welcome! I did the CAGS skip shift eliminator and the LMC5 steering column lock bypass from Compliance parts. Both are a must for six speed cars IMO. Lots of technical info on this form about that.
For exhaust I just purchased the Borla S Type II axle back. It’s sitting in the garage hopefully I’ll have a chance to install soon. Lots of info on exhausts on this site as well.
Welcome and congratulations. Good choice on your first mod and as another member posted, the CAGS skip shift eliminator will make your driving experience much more enjoyable. I had a Corsa Touring on mine and I loved it. Great sound with absolutely zero drone. Plus really good looking exhaust tips (if they haven’t changed as it’s been a while). Best of luck and enjoy.
