My wife always wanted a convertible, and I always wanted another corvette. I bought my first corvette in 1984. It was a beautiful claret color 1980. I paid 12K. I sold it in 1989 when my first wife and I had our first child. for 11.5k. So now, so many years later, I said let's do it. My wife drives it mostly because she works locally. We do not drive it when it rains, but unfortunately it always seems like it is raining. We live in Fairfield county, CT . We bought this about a year ago. It is a 2013, 60th Anniversary addition. We bought it at 35K miles and put on about 4k. The car is in excellent condition, I think we got a good deal. The dealer put new tires on it for no extra charge. The only issue is the front passenger door speaker sounds blown. I will be looking into that soon. Also need an oil change soon. Should I go to the local Chevy dealer for this? Looking forward to learning a lot because I am not a guy that works on cars.
Welcome! Your Corvette looks really sharp; classic white with a red interior is hard to beat. I’ll bet your wife is on cloud 9! Enjoy your Corvette and enjoy the Forum!
