New Member here, have loved Corvettes since I was little, even more than most exotics. Got myself a 2004 C5 Manual LeMans Commemorative Edition. Only has 37k on the odometer and is amazingly good condition. I absolutely love it. Gorgeous in the blue color. Have been lurking on the forums here trying to learn more and get ideas before I even purchased my Vette.
Have some plans for mods, nothing crazy, tint, exhaust (probably Corsa or Borla), lighting (trying to decide between keeping the pop ups, or going with fixed) and an intake. Maybe go with some blackout LED for the marker and taillights, not sure yet.
Congrats on your first Corvette. Guess what — the smile will never go away. Take that baby up to the top of Mount Lemmon! That should be a fun Corvette outing. You have a beautiful Corvette. Welcome to the Forum and the Corvette lifestyle.

Plan to do that soon, looking for a trustworthy mechanic in Tucson to have him do a once over on her. Any suggestions?

I sure don’t, but if you post that question in, I believe, the Southwest section, I’ll bet that you get a couple of answers. If not, check out a couple of Corvette clubs in Tucson and I’m sure that they will be able to steer you in the right direction.
Also, while I’m thinking about it, I had Corsa cat backs on my C5 and loved them. Some like a deeper pitch like Borlas or some other brands. If you go to a local Corvette club meeting, you can probably listen to some of each. It’s a personal decision as to what you like best.
