Welcome to the forum and best of luck with your Corvette search.
Thanks guys,
I’m a bit split, originally wanted a 09+ C6 Z06
Now looking at a C7 Z06 and a C8 Z51
Budget is all over the place. Was originally going to build a pole barn and get a less expensive corvette but settled for a small garage as we’ll be moving in the next few years. I’d like to be in the 50k-70k range and I’ve seen all of those models within.
My use case, weekend drives, roadtrips and occasional track days HDPE & Autocross events.
car will be garaged all winter as I live in Northern Jersey and it’s going to be nearly useless with the snow and salt we get.
Had two camaro SS’s 1LE, both had some heavy track use. Wife isn’t very stick friendly and I’m trying to get her more into cars as she likes autocross. So I’m leaning the automatic route for her.
Trying to get anyone’s two cents for what they’ve experienced. Kids in the near future so this is going to be my last toy for a while. Going to hold on to this for many years to come.

Welcome to the forum. I have a 2017 Z06 with auto that I bought new. The car has been nearly flawless and is great to drive on long distance trips or spirited drives on the twisties. The only issues I've had since my purchase in Oct 2016 are the auto trans shudder (very mild) that was cured with the triple flush and two bent wheels on the driver's side cured with aftermarket forged wheels. I'm currently at 23K miles and plan to keep this one long term. My wife really enjoys driving this one and I'm sure yours will, too. Good luck with your search.
