I already said hello in the Z06 forum but wanted to say hello. When I was 5 I fell in love with Corvettes. But my uncle showed me a 911S in 1970 . So from then on I bought 911s as an adult the whole time having vette cravings under my skin. I’ve had 6 911s including one turbo &
3 GT3s . My last was a 18 GT3, and while it was fun it was pretty plain compared to this new C8 Z06. So after 6 years with this GT3 I just couldn’t pass up a Z06. I just think it’s more fun to drive and I didn’t have to play all the games that Porsche is starting to play on their GT cars.
The GT3 is a great car but it seriously worth around $150,000. It only got 500 hp and probably won’t be able to go higher because of restrictions for homologation . So these last 3 iterations are around the same horsepower and very minor sequential improvements, yet they’re raising prices exponentially. And it’s just not worth the price and the hassle. So I’m so happy to be in a Chevy where I can go to my dealer without getting charged for something. Glad to be here . This car scratches a lot of itches .
