Hello from the UK
As is fairly common I ended up here because of a technical problem, which I'm on my way to sorting, but we have a 2005 C6 M6 car, originally from New York area, now residing in Yorkshire England.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Obvious differences are the culture and size, the UK is a small country, comprising 4 countries that all have their own identity and strange feelings towards each other. Roads are generally narrower, but not to the degree you probably think, we don't really have any motorways that match your freeways, but most parts of the UK are within short distance of being on a major trunk road/motorway. Travelling time here is terrible though, when I visit the US it always amazes me how much distance you can cover without fatigue, France is very similar in that respect but motorway tolls get you there, a few years ago we did 8k miles in a 2019 Camaro SS starting in Miami, up through Georgia and the Carolinas to Kentucky, back down via 129 and around the smokey mountains and the Carolinas then down through Florida again to key west before sadly leaving 3 weeks later. That distance would have been a misery here due to roadworks, speed limits and cameras and a generally anti car attitude that exists in the UK.
Your back roads are very similar to ours, but we do have single track roads out in the countryside that means pulling in to let each other past, but they are roads to get to a farm, or your out on a country drive, they aren't the norm.
So the corvette fits fine, it's not a small car, but it's far from a big car on the roads, we do have some terrible road surfaces though, so care is needed in places.
