Good afternoon all. I have been a member for a while but finally introducing myself.
I have been around Corvettes a long time. Growing up, I would attend many events with the local club. My father still has his '86 although it has not seen much action lately. Hoping to change that.
A couple years ago, I purchased my first Vette, a 1994. I really liked it, made quite a bit of improvements. But when my a white '99 FRC popped up for sale, I had to have it. Unfortunately it meant I had to sell the 94. And I do miss it.
I really enjoy the 1999. It was a fun car as I purchased it, with just a Blackwing intake and a B&B Fusion axle-back. When the balancer walked off, I took the opportunity to make some improvements with heads and cam from TSP and headers, etc.
Runs really nice, but I am not yet the driver it needs to be quick. Working on it though.
Currently looking to address an issue with high rpm shifting issues. Seems to be a common problem from my reading.
