Love this car! My dad had a 1985 coupe when I was a kid and I absolutely loved the digital dash, so that was something I was looking for, but I always wanted a converitble as well. So when this 1988 convertible become available in my area, I just had to jump on it.
Been busy bringing it up to a daily driver state. Since I'm in Austin, first thing I had to address was the AC (needed a new evaporator) and the top (went to Jim's top shop). Then had to address the original hubs on the fronts and rears to get rid of all the squeaking. The rear hubs were a LOT of fun to get to all those bolts, jeez! Vette is now in a great driving state, and I'm in the middle of restoring the door panels and upgrading the stereo speakers/amp/double DIN setup. I've been learning a lot from this site, but this is my first post, thanks for all the info here so far! Black 1988 Convertible
