Greetings to all the Corvette owners out there. What a cool community. Trying to get started here on CF. Seems to take a bit of time to figure out how to do things, but appears to be well worth the effort with all the information and connections on the site. I've been reading the site for years, and opened an account last year, and now see some parts a member is selling so have to start posting on the site to be able to get approved to private message the guy. Living in Minnesota, and own two Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Corvettes from 1993. The Convertible I bought in 1997 with 12k miles, and drove it home from Richmond, VA - now 58k miles - 3 trips to the Museum and factory. The ZR-1 I just bought this year out of NY with 16k miles (trucked it home) and now doing restoration work on it (surprised right, with 16k miles, but metal parts rust, etc.). Some history - I owned and operated a GM licensed Corvette Calendar business from 2005 - 2009, which was a very rewarding experience. It was called CSP Calendars.
I'm a member of two local Corvette Clubs: Suburban Corvettes of Minnesota & NCRS North Central Chapter. I keep my Vettes as close to original as possible due to my interest in NCRS, and I'm frequently looking for original components to replace items that have worn out. I'm open to performance mods that are not visible or easily reversible, since both these cars will go through NCRS Flight Judging in the next few years.
Looking forward to making friends on the sight. I perform all work on my cars myself (except for things like mounting tires that take special equipment), so I'll be on here frequently looking up knowledge people have shared and will share the things I learn that will hopefully expand other members knowledge of how to care for their Corvettes.

Congrats on your new purchase, John, she’s a beauty. Gotta love them Anniversary Corvettes!! May their hibernation ne short this year! Post some pictures from your cruises as that is a beautiful area where you live. One of my very good friends has a farm near Cashton.
