My dad passed awhile back and I inherited his 1989 Corvette. I came to enjoy it through his eyes and look forward to taking up the mantle, although I must admit the new ones sure catch my eye!
Fortunately, he kept it nice, and even though it has about 100k miles, it purrs like a kitten. He said it'll easily go another 100k if I take care of it. Its a 6 speed with FX-3, which he said was pretty rare. First year for both, I think?
Anyway, I'll look forward to taking her out on weekends and learning more on this forum.
I had a1989 C4 Z51 6 Speed Corvette for 26 Years and sold it with 10K miles. For Years it had Intermittent Stalling Issues. It turned out to be a Shorted Fuel Injector.
