Hey, all. New member here from Central Texas expecting ownership of a 67 convertible, 327 (originally 300hp), 4 spd later this year.
My dad has had it since the early/mid 70s and then restored it in 2003 with an engine rebuild and a fresh coat of silver pearl metallic paint.
It is a beautiful driver but has sat for two years without much attention.
He and I have both come to the realization that we’re not doing the car any good by letting it sit. The plan is to get it ready then transport it from NE Ohio to Central Texas later this year. Over the years I’ve been more focused on mopars so I wanted to find a good community to educate myself on these C2 beauties.
It’s bittersweet, but I’m excited to have the opportunity to keep this gal in good working order and get her some regular exercise. I think these winding hill country roads are just what the doctor ordered.
