Hi I just joined. I live in Massachusetts and have 2003 anniversary addition coupe 6 speed. This is my third corvette, I had a 1968 convertible and 1992 coupe. Looking forward to reading and hopefully getting some good.
Hello, I'm ICON 64. Trying to learn to navigate the forum, I learned about this forum a week ago. I've been hunting for my first classic corvette.. Is this is the real deal ,Skyway Classic cars in Bradenton Florida. This was posted at this forum. The car was posted on Youtube.
Thank You in advance. Steve.
I have to let this forum know that Skyway classics is the real deal. I just spoke to the transport driver. I will be officially a 1964 Corvette owner. Yeah ! His est time of delivery will be this Sunday the 27th. When my vette arrives I will post pictures when I find out how to do this. Steve
Welcome! The advice I can give you is to pick out one that is in the best shape you can afford. Avoid the high mileage, rough or neglectide. Have a third party inspect it. I bought mine from out of state and had a local Chevy dearler check it out before I bought it.
Also don't rule out the manual trans. I'm 76 and have a 6 speed. Easy clutch, smooth trans, more fun. Hve fun with it. C5's are the best.
