Hey y'all. I was given a yellow '77 that didn't run. Got it running & heard a bad knock. Went for a test drive and blew up the motor like it was my job. Sent 2 rods through the oil pan, looked like it was sitting on a land mine. Anyway, I had a 383 stroker built for it, put a T56 in it, had a new wire harness installed, fuel injected it, dewitt's dual-fan radiator, hooker pro-comp ceramic long tubes, vintage air, bluetooth, etc. - and I'm finally about to pay off the mechanic out of state & drive it back to Vegas. With that said, I'm here to research wheel sizes so I can have the correct fitment for new shoes before I drive it 1k miles. I won't have access to the vehicle before I get there, so I want to make sure I order the correct wheels (I'm taking the wheels to the tire shop for new tires as soon as I pick up the car). I'm sure there will be more posts, questions, socializing here along the way, but I'm here mainly for that reason.

Looks like you got your headache and work cut out for you. If you're happy and you enjoy taking up on the challenge, then that's a good deal. Welcome aboard and good luck with everything.
After reading your entire post it sounds like the good times are about to roll! Sounds like a solid build and it should be a blast driving that baby home. I’ll bet that 77 will enjoy finally having some horsepower to play with. Have a safe trip and enjoy!
