My first experience with a Corvette was a brand new, black, 1978, sitting on the showroom floor whilst my parents bought a new Oldsmobile. Fell absolutely in love. I've owned other Toys over the years, but never a Corvette. Now two years from retirement, I'm intent on getting one and driving it to work on my last day there.
So I thought I should join up here to learn the true ins/outs/good/bad/ugly of the various years. I lean towards a C7 or a C8 though.
2025 C8 Z06/7/E-Ray of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Welcome aboard and glad to have you. Both the c7 and c8 are great choices. If you want more of the sports car muscle car experience then I guess a c7 would be a little better and then if you want a more European mid-engine, smaller and tighter fit and a bit more athletic as far as handling, then maybe the c8 would be the better choice.
Maybe take a couple used ones for a test drive or rent them out to really understand firsthand or maybe meet up with some local owners and see the cars in person and get their first hand feedback as well in person. There's no wrong choice and you just got to do what's right for you. Good luck with a search and good luck with the decision. Let us know if you need anything and don't hesitate to post up additional questions and threads in the appropriate sections of the forum and also in your regional section to link up with local members.

Thanks all. I like the C7. Maybe I just like the more "traditional" look over the C8.
Looking thru the site, I have learned of the 2017 Grand Sport Collectors Edition. I may like that better than the all black. Not sure about the blue on the dash, but the seats and fender swipes I like.
