Good Morning. I just registered o the forum and wanted to stick my head up and say Hi. Last October I bought my Dad a 77 Corvette as a surprise birthday present. Owning a Corvette had been a lifelong dream of his. Neither of us had had any previous experience tinkering on a Corvette and I will say that so far it's been a great but unique experience. I'll see if I can post a couple pics of the car. Other than the radio and wear items like tires, tune up items, etc and a mediocre paint job the car is very original.

Welcome first time caller and thanks for sticking your head up but not in the wrong place like I do sometimes, lol. Let us know if you need anything and hope you enjoy your experience over here. Thanks for posting the pictures and that's a nice Vette along with a lovely family you got there.
So far we have replaced the exhaust, installed rebuilt trailing arm assemblies because one of the rear wheel bearings was making a popping noise, gave it a good cleaning, replaced the rear brake calipers and hoses, both window motors and a new spring on the passenger door regulator. The carburetor is currently off getting rebuilt. Where do yall like to buy your parts from?
Check out Zip Corvette. They are in VA so a quick shipping time. They are the go to for replacement parts if you’re wanting OE type stuff. They also do a lot of aftermarket as far as exhaust or wheels or supercharger. They’re a massive e commerce place and have buildings full of parts. It’s a cool setup. They’re about 50 minutes from me and so I’ll run down for parts for my 66 or 60 and they’ve usually got whatever it is in stock. Very few things they don’t have.
