My name is Chris and I bought a broken C5Z from a friend of mine last year, coming from a Miata track car. I have been around cars most of my life, and I was a mechanic in high school, now I work for an Automotive Teir 1 Supplier as a Project Manager. I was always in love with the C5 and C6 generation Corvettes, and when this one became available, I couldn’t say no. Its been a lot of work since I bought the car, its not perfect, but its mine, and I got it out on track in March for the first time at VIR. After some upgrades, I had it at Road Atlanta 7-8 of June. I ran a 1:41.6; room for improvement, but plenty fast for the 2nd time on track.
