Hello, fellow Corvette lovers, from Delaware.
Recently bought my first Corvette, a 2003 Anniversary model convertible with a 6 speed manual transmission. Love it! 46K miles and I paid $19,500. It's the second Corvette I've ever driven - first was my friend's 2022 C8 - and it gave me the bug to get my own! (I sure wish the C8 had a manual transmission option!)
I've owned my 2007 Mustang GT (5 speed) for many years and I'm amazed at how much faster, more comfortable, and a better handler my C5 is! Of course, it makes sense, the C5 was a much higher level car than my Mustang when they were produced.
I plan to keep my Mustang though - it's my little muscle car and the C5 is my fast sportscar! My slow sportscar is my 1994 Mazda Miata that I've also owned for many years.
Looking foreward to learning lots about Corvettes on this great forum.
