Newbie from Oklahoma
More greetings from Oklahoma! I have an Orange/Black 2023 LT3 Z51 convertible that I absolutely love. I used to have a Polaris Slingshot SLR and was VERY active on their forum and our Oklahoma Drivers Group. Sold it and bought my Vette and could not be happier. The Sling was lots of fun to drive, turned a lot of heads and had lots of pep to it, but it was hot as hell in the summer and unusable in the winter. I'm here just to learn more and make some friends. I've driven some high performance all my life, but this is my first Corvette so I'm all ears!

Welcome. I'm assuming your name is Bruce? Always been curious about the Polaris slingshot and I looked into it maybe once or twice in the past but couldn't really find motivation to come around to it, but I see those every now and then. One of my neighbors has a red one and he really enjoys it, and it looks like as he keeps his cars and motorcycles a very long time. I guess the Slingshot is classified as a motorcycle so it probably has the same advantages and drawbacks as well when it comes to driving or riding it in optimal seasonal times.
I'm sure the Corvette is much more comfortable and you can also use it as a daily driver so it's definitely a great choice and I'm sure you're going to continue enjoying it like you have been. It's awesome to hear that you were very active on the Slingshot forum and hopefully you'll get a chance and time to be active on here as well. Glad to have you. : )
