Default 2024 C8 Z06 first Corvette

I looked for about 2 months for the right car at the right price. I wanted either silver or hypersonic grey with red/black interior, no carbon fiber, no big wings, etc and a good history. One popped up in Illinois at Advantage Chevrolet that had 90% of what I was looking for so I called, a couple texts later we had a deal with one caveat. They wouldn't hold it and wouldn't take a deposit. It was a GREAT deal so I booked a flight the next day, sales man (Andre Thomas Corvette Specialist) picked me up at the airport, and I drove it 7 hours back. Way more comfortable than I expected! Car was in immaculate shape, still had that new car smell, and the previous owner sold it to them for a spot on their ZR1 list. It had exactly 6,000 miles on it.

The only options I wanted that it didn't have were black exhaust tips and red intake both I can easily do if I decide they're must haves.

It came with both the transparent and color matched tops and the previous owner did me a solid and already swapped the brake pads for a low dust version, had the car ceramic coated, and windows tinted.

I've put almost 1,000 miles on it already and will have the free DCT filter service done soon, and will save the free oil change until later this year as Advantage Chevy just changed that.

So far I've picked up a car cover, some red lift pucks, and a red start button to go with the interior. I'm going to have the front PPF'd here soon, and maybe put some film on the windshield. The car doesn't seem to stay super cool in these 100 degree days and I'm thinking it's from the large windshield letting heat in? I had to take the transparent roof off till fall, I was getting cooked.

I've been doing lots of reading and learning from info on this site, seems almost every question has an answer lol. I normally don't read the owner's manual and just figure things out but this thing is like a space ship so I've spent a few nights with a cocktail reading up on features like PTM, My Mode, and launch control.
