Congratulations. Welcome to the Forum and to the world of Corvettes. As you are finding out, road trips in a Corvette are great. Of course, different strokes for different folks and folks use theirs in many ways. Enjoyment is the key.

Thanks for the warm welcome from members in:
Michigan, Illinois (drove through there last week to include Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin)
Florida, Tennessee (have firm plan to drive there in October as well as Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia)
Alabama, Texas (have firm plan to go there next April as well as Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri)
Have a firm trip planned for next summer to Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Colorado and will probably get into Manitoba and Saskatchewan Canada. We plan tp visit friends in Ontario Canada before we drive to Florida this fall.
All of the above trips were/will be in the Vette. In summary, in one month we have driven the Vette in 5 states. By this time next year, we have plans to have driven it in AT LEAST 29 states and 3 Canadian provinces.
At 80 years old, in excellent health and soundness of mind, (both confirmed by my doctors and wife) :-) and a first time Corvette owner, I don’t know how many days I have left to safely drive, but my goal is to put 80,000 miles on this Vette before the extended warranty expires or before I expire (whichever comes first) so I can buy another new one and add more goals to my bucket list.
Life is good! God is good! i’m thoroughly enjoying the blessings of both AND this awesome Vette.
PS - to the member from Connecticut who welcomed me, I hope to drive this beautiful car in your state too.
PPS - I tried to post a picture of the car to my profile, but did something wrong. Maybe somebody can tell me how?
