Saw this guy on the side of the road Sunday, stopped and checked it out, rather an odd color but it looked real nice, the wheels and tires were good, and the price was right, so I called the owner and son-of-a-gun if it wasn't a guy I know !!!!!!!!!! Made the deal, picked it up yesterday. Always wanted a Corvette, especially a 63-67, those cars were perfect, so cool, but this 77 will be just fine. Just needs a couple little things fixed then it'll be ready to go. I have several other cars (68 Bug, 66 Impala, 65 Grand Prix), and am on a couple other forums, but now I'm a Corvette owner. How cool is that?
I'm going to change from being a Corvette owner to a Corvette caretaker. From what I was told, I am the 3rd caretaker of this car, the guy who bought it new had it up until 2021, then the guy I got it from only put about 600 miles on it, now it's close to going over 100,000. For those who may not know, in 1977 the 500,000th Corvette was built, and by running the numbers this one is number 508452. I was hoping it would be number 500,002 or some such cool number, but you can't have everything I guess. Here's a couple more pics.
Congratulations !!! Looks very clean/well cared for and the paint matches nicely with the interior. Is that the original paint ? Enjoy your Corvette !!!
