I'm in the "golden years" of life and never bought a "toy" for myself. I told my wife if I don't get a Corvette now, I won't be able to get in and out of it in 10 years. So, she said OK because she's awesome. Since I have never owned anything like this, very much appreciate everyone's knowledge, wisdom, and insight.....especially for a new Vette guy like me.
I just bought it from a very kind gentleman in Virginia. Flew there yesterday morning and drove it home to Kentucky last night. The picture is one he took when he sold it to me. I haven't had the chance to take one of it here yet. LOL
Sounds like a nominee for Wife of the Year. Congratulations on your new Corvette. That must have been one great road trip coming home!
I have to admit............I have a bulging disc in my lower back and this car has those super-duper stiff performance seats with the sides that don't give an inch............it was a 9 hour drive from Virginia to Kentucky. I was feeling a little sore and fatigued when I finally got her home..............but I didn't buy it to go cross-country in. LOL
She's an awesome wife. Just a tick better than this car.................
