New guy here from Houston. I recently bought an arctic white Z06,
and am scared to drive it until I deal with the valve drop situation that plagues these cars. I sold my low-mile terminator and bought the Z06. I have a 1993 Cobra that will never leave me, and a couple of cars. This is my first Corvette.
Welcome, TK, you have gotten you a gorgeous Corvette to add to your stable. I think that in your position, I would rather be safe than sorry, too. Hope you and your Corvette have many miles of enjoyment together.
Thank you. The car is stunning in person. I promise not to openly discuss the valve drop fix; apparently it has been talked about before. From what I gather, @Tony @ Mamo Motorsports is the person to contact for LS7 heads.

i had a ‘92 notch with trickflow components, afm blower cam and a vortech. Super lightweight and fast but those stock t5s are a weak link.
i have a black ‘91 notch. It has been waiting for me to put the new interior in it for the last six years. I have a Vortech V3 new in the box that’s been on a shelf for 3 years that was going into the ‘93. It had a Kenne Bell Flowzilla but it was too hot. I removed the stock motor and it has a Ford Racing Boss 302 in it. The T5 has been great, but I don’t drive hard and don’t launch it.
Beautiful Z! Love the Artic White and also nice taste in the stang as well. Welcome!
thank you. I don’t remember having ever seen a white C6 Z06 before I started looking for one. I almost bought a 7,000 mile red car. After seeing white in person I think I made the right choice.
