FINALLY, after many years I'm a Corvette owner! I've been on the forum for over 20 years, mostly just reading, but now I'm a happy owner.
A couple months ago I bought a completely stock 1970 Corvette 350/300HP and about a week after that I bought the 2004 Z06 Commemorative Edition.
The 1970 Vette has a lot of rust and is going to be getting an aftermarket frame and built into a pro-touring car for autocross, track days, OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car, and some fun on the streets.
The 2004 Vette will be left stock and be a driver, although it has a Borla exhaust on it.
Congrats on joining the Corvette club officially. Owning one is addictive, so two doesn’t surprise me. Each generation has its own personality. The community is half the fun of ownership. Road trips become events instead of errands. Just make sure security is solid — stories about theft sometimes circulate like kraken rumors in financial circles. Protecting your investment is part of the game.
