Long time Chevy enthusiast just hit 49yrs old maybe second mid-life…😂 decided to try a corvette for my weekend hotrod or just some cruising. Recently seen a local c7 stingray at a dealer and decided to see if I fit. 6’5” 220lbs limits many sports cars for me. But I seem to be very comfortable in the c7. Width wise great head and leg room atleast an inch. Great visibility and my wife seemed pretty thrilled. So I put the patina C10 up for sale and have been searching for c7 stingrays, Grand Sport if the price is right. Want a z51 2lt and a manual 7speed would prefer later generation for the front cam for wife. Lots of info here to take in
The first test drive I did was in a 14’ stingray A6 a couple weeks ago. And have been looking around for a M7 to test, clutch leg movement since I was close on the auto. Yesterday sealed the deal for me on the manual. I went to a dealer with 6 or 7 manual cars most of them were 3LT models with everyone had dash pad issues. Then I found a 2019 GS 2LT in the stack and took for a quick spin. I am most definitely gonna look for a stingray z51 2LT M7 at this point. Don’t see the need for a weekender GS unless the price and car is right. Hoping my c10 sells so I have all winter to find one🤦🏼♂️
