I'm a new member and new to Corvette. I've been racing them for years in my highly modified 1978 Trans Am. I swapped a 533HP LS3 mated to a T56 Magnum 6 Speed Manual. I installed all UMI Cornermax suspension with Viking Triple adjustable shocks and PowerStop C6Z06 brakes, BC Forged 18x10 wheels and 285/35/18 Falken RT660 tires. I controlled the engines with a Holley Terminator X Max multi-port injection and had Dakota Digital Gauges. It was quite the ride at the track and was a lot of fun to handle but I wanted to get into something more refined and chose the C7 platform. I have a 2017 Grand Sport now with Auto Transmission and am absolutely loving it! I bought it because these cars were very tough to stay with autocrossing and road coursing, what I did not anticipate was how nice these cars were to just drive! It's super comfortable to ride in and go long distances.
I have a whole new world to learn about and this seems like a great place!
